I was a little worried about how firm it would feel, but the surface has just the right amount of give for my baby to settle in quickly. It’s noticeably lighter than our old foam one, which makes stripping the sheets for laundry a breeze.

Setting it up took maybe five minutes, and the cover zips off completely, which is a lifesaver for middle-of-the-night spit-up incidents. The fact that it’s not foam and uses that sustainable fiber fill gives me real peace of mind while I’m putting her down.

The fiber fill makes it noticeably lighter than the foam one we returned, and the mattress fits the crib perfectly without any gaps. My baby slept through the night on it from day one, which says a lot for a new mattress.
